Most chain business hotels in Japan accept incoming Yamato / Japan Post parcels, and guests can fill out shipping forms at the front desk. Pre-check-in holds (bags arriving before you do) vary by property — email the hotel at least a week ahead. Post-check-out same-day shipping to the airport is usually fine.
